There was some game watch action down in Denver during the Final Four year, set up by the local alumni club.
The only game watch in Boulder that year consisted of my wife and I – and another couple who’s names I’ve long forgotten – at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Superior watching the bartender and manager fail to negotiate their satellite system for half an hour. Riveting stuff.
Must Read
Don’t know if this has been posted yet but its an absolute must read, just an excellent recap of the season thus far.

This Boulder-base Hoya wants to know
Where, if at all, can one find a big-game gamewatch?
PitHoyaFan - January 6, 2012

On an unrelated note, here’s something that was sitting on my hard drive for the past few years:
GU @ WVU, 2008 – Chvotkin calls the final seconds
B. Lerner @ Hoya Prospectus - January 6, 2012
chills
Hire Esherick - January 7, 2012
Still one of the closest calls I have ever seen.
It’s clean though. People only thought it was a goaltend because Jr. slapped it upwards when he blocked it.
I remember a spontaneous hallway pile-up in my dorm when that happened.

i remember
a lot of screaming in New South. Good times.

Traveling to the game . . .
crazy things do happen in Morgantown, but I think this team’s toughness will be able to handle the mysteries of Appalachia.
ReggieandtheMiracles - January 6, 2012
This team handled China
Which is the West Virginia of Asia.
boumtje - January 6, 2012
